I see this, and I'm immediately reminded of when I beat the first third of the story in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

I was a Riolu, my partner was a Pikachu named 'Sparky'. And I damn near cried my eyes out when I disappeared and he was left alone for who knows how long...CURSE YOU DRAMATIC STORYLINES!!!! DX
